LOVE ELLIJAY 2026 IS SATURDAY, APRIL 25
It is our heart as a church to be united with fellow believers in serving and sharing the Gospel with individuals across our city. On this day, we will be serving a variety of ministries through working on projects that will support their efforts to love members of our community.
We will meet at the church parking lot next to the Education Center at 8:30am. Donuts will be provided in the morning, and lunch will be provided by Poole's BBQ and delivered to locations.
We do not know all of the specifics of what will be done at each site, but will keep you updated as we learn more from our partner organizations! There is also the opportunity to volunteer by delivering food to FBC volunteers at the locations. You will be able to select below where you would like to serve!
Gilmer Food Pantry (8+) - Cleaning & organizing
Roots Thrift Store (12+) - Sorting, cleaning, hanging clothing, organizing
Christian Learning Center (12+) - Pressure washing, driveway crack repair, clean out attic
Camp Highland (12+)
New Beginnings (17+) - Yardwork: Mowing and weed eating, bush trimming, constructing a lumber rack and stacking lumber, repairing deck stairs, pressure washing. Housework: Deep cleaning a tenant's unit
Downtown Ellijay (12+) - Litter pick-up, prayer walk around the city
FBC South Property (18+) - Replace sink, install door in pump house, weedeat, remove old fencing
Deliver lunch to FBC Volunteers (18+)
Cookie & Card Making / Delivery to First Responders (any age, under 12 need adult accompaniment)
